Adult Education

Welcome to the 2019-20 Adult Education Programme at Comberton, Cambourne and Melbourn Village Colleges.

We strive to provide a high-quality and varied programme of courses taught by well-qualified and enthusiastic tutors. Activities take place in the daytime, evenings and at weekends and we do hope you will find something here to interest you. It is important to us to hear from you with any comments and feedback on the courses you attend and ideas you may have for future programmes. Our prices for weekly classes have remained the same this year, however we have slightly increased the fees for the weekend day schools to reflect changes in central funding, but we hope you agree that our courses still provide excellent value for money and we look forward to seeing you in 2019-20.

Diana Cook and Mandy Draper - Adult Education Managers - on behalf of the Principal and Governors of Comberton, Cambourne and Melbourn Village Colleges.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, and in particular the closing of the schools to all but essential staff and key workers' children, we have had to cancel the vast majority of our courses this summer. We are in the process of setting up some courses that can be provided remotely, e.g. via video conferencing apps such as Zoom. The first such course that we can deliver is Get Ready for Maths GCSE, details of which can also be found on our Cambourne Courses page. Please note that we are not able to access our telephone answer-machine at this time, please send any queries to our email address.

Our programme for 2019-2020 has over 150 courses on offer. Full details of the programme can be found in our online 2019-2020 programme. You will be able to collect a free paper copy of the brochure from the reception area at Comberton Village College from mid-August. Detailed Course Information sheets on all our courses will be available from the Adult Education office at 01223 264721 or by e-mail at , and online.
