Enrolment and Payment

You may enrol on any of our courses in the following ways:

BY POST

We would suggest you confirm course availability and cost by telephone before sending your cheque (payable to 'Comberton Village College' even for all courses) to Adult Education, Comberton Village College, West Street, Comberton, Cambridge CB23 7DU. Please make it clear which course(s) you require and provide your contact details. An email address or a stamped addressed envelope is required if you need a receipt. Please do not send cash by post

IN PERSON

The Adult Education team is based at Comberton Village College. Please ask at the main reception desk to make a booking/payment or to speak with a member of the Adult Education team. They are available Monday – Thursday between 9 - 4.30pm or Monday and Wednesday evenings between 7 - 9.30pm. Payment may be made by cash or cheque. Visa/Mastercard credit/debit card are also accepted.

BY TELEPHONE

Please call 01223 264721 during opening hours (above) and have the details of the course(s) your require and your credit/debit card details to hand. Payments are often not processed until classes are viable, but please assume the class is running once payment has been sent unless you hear to the contrary. Unless you are notified by us, assume your enrolment has been accepted and attend your chosen course on the first day/evening.

REFUNDS

Refunds are only available if we close a class or you choose to withdraw no less than two weeks before the start date. In the latter instance, there will be an administrative charge of £5.00. If a class is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as snow or tutor illness, an extra class or classes will be added to the programme and no refund will be available.

CONCESSIONARY FEES AND PAYMENT BY INSTALMENTS

Concessionary discounts of 25% are available if you are in receipt of a means-tested benefit, evidence of which must be presented on enrolment. It is also possible to pay by instalments - please ask for details.
